Walk & Wine Trail Combo
LAKESHORE, FOREST & BIRD
This half-day guided walk is our easiest walk. It combines the best of native flora and fauna with magnificent lake and mountain views. Native birds are readily seen and heard, in and around the edges of the forest.
WALKS START/FINISH: 8.am to midday Daily (October - March)
WALKING DISTANCE: 2 to 5kms (optional - easy walking)
TRACK: Well-formed, some steps - old Bridle Path
HIGHLIGHTS: Spectacular lake and mountain views, variety of bird life close at hand and easy to view
QUEENSTOWN SUMMER SAMPLER
An introduction to two Queenstown area vineyards, the Summer Sampler maintains a relaxed and leisurely pace throughout with vineyard lunch included at Gibbston Valley Winery, a cheese factory visit and wine cave tour. Friendly knowledgeable guides offer an understanding of the unique Central Otago wine growing conditions and wines offered.
WINE TOUR START/FINISH: 12.30pm returning 4.00pm Daily (October 1 st - March 31)
Total Time away: Allow 7 hours
HIGHLIGHTS: Tastings at two vineyards visited, being Gibbston Valley Winery and Amisfield Cellars at Lake Hayes, Wine Cave Tour, Cheese factory tour and tasting, Special menu lunch at Gibbston Valley Winery
